The low cost of photogrammetry systems can be attributed to the use of drones equipped with one camera for carrying them. These drones cost from USD 5,000 to USD 20,000. LiDAR drones require LiDAR sensors, which cost from USD 50,000 to USD 300,000. These expensive sensors are deployed on highly reliable drones with costs ranging from USD 25,000 to USD 50,000.
