MnM’s client was interested in assessing model mapping of leading off-highway engine manufacturers with parameters such as OEM, model, version, engine model, power, bore, stroke, RPM, length, width, height, displacement, aspiration, fuel system, lubricant capacity, coolant capacity and type of transmission for mining vehicles. Moreover, the client was interested in detailed product mapping with parameters such as OEM, model, engine model, laden weight, payload capacity, suspension, hydraulic tank capacity, differential liters, lubricant capacity, coolant capacity and final drive for construction vehicle.

1. Methodology Adopted by MnM: MnM carried out this study through an extensive secondary research. Many regional off-highway associations and databases were targeted in order to fetch the data in that particular region. All the manufacturers of off-highway vehicles and engine manufacturers across the globe were identified and listed. Extensive secondary research was carried out in order to study technical specifications of every model of vehicle and engine by each manufacturer in the market.
2. Actual Solution Provided:Through this granular study, MnM developed valuable information for client to help him understand technical aspects of the off-highway vehicles and their engines across the globe. The study was presented in excel sheet in modest way for clear understanding.
