It focuses on new product developments to increase its product offerings mainly in the LED segment to provide lamps with high-intensity UV that would disinfect the medium such as gases and fluids through which it passes. In August 2016, the company launched Monsun 2 LED luminaire for livestock, which is ammonia-resistant, dust- & water-proof, and provides maximum energy efficiency. This helped the company to expand its product portfolio for livestock lights.

Furthermore, DeLaval, the manufacturer of equipment & technology for milk production and animal husbandry provides various solutions for milking, farm management, feeding, manure handling, and ventilation & lighting is expanding in other regions to tap new markets.  For instance, DeLaval opened a new distribution center in Germany in May 2018. Additionally, it also launched a new LED in November 2014, which enhances the milk production in cows by 7-10%.
