Syngenta offers agricultural biologicals through its Crop Protection business segment. Through this segment, the company offers selective herbicides, non-selective herbicides, fungicides, insecticides, seed care, controls, and other crop protection products and seed segments consisting of field crops, vegetables and flowers. Switzerland, the UK, the US, and China are locations of Syngentas most important manufacturing and research & development facilities. Bayer is a life science company and one of the global leaders in health care and nutrition. Bayer operates in three business segments, namely, pharmaceuticals, crop science and consumer health. For sustainable agriculture, the company offers a diverse array of high-value seeds, improved plant features, novel chemical and biological crop protection products, digital solutions, and extended customer service. The Animal Health business unit was sold to Elanco Animal Health Incorporated, United States, in August and is no longer part of the Bayer Group. Bayer also focuses on developing products that engage in techniques, known as RNA interference, to develop efficient products.
