GrainCorp Malt, a subsidiary of GrainCorp, is a global performance-driven malt supplier. GrainCorp intends to focus on growth and expansion strategies along with key acquisitions. The company strategizes its acquisition and growth plans by acquiring GermanMalt GmbH and Co. (Germany) and Kirin Australia Pty Ltd (Australia) to expand its malting operations. In May 2015, GrainCorp significantly expanded malt production capacity at its Great Western Malting facility in Pocatello, Idaho, U.S. The project increased the capacity at Pocatello by 120,000 tons, bringing the total annual malting capacity of to 220,000 tons for GrainCorp
