Ohio's charging station, located at the Pilot Travel Center along Interstate 70 at US Route 42, features fast chargers that can charge an EV up to 80% in 20-40 minutes. This site is part of a broader initiative to enhance assessing capacity and reliability nationwide.
Detroit's pioneering wireless charging roadway in Corktown complements this development, which was installed by the city, the Michigan Department of Transportation, and Electron. Embedded beneath the road, this inductive charging technology charges EVs in motion. The pilot project will further evolve this technology for public use in the coming years.
